Conky - Do you need this?

Maybe everyone saw or heard, what is conky, if not, Conky's homepage: http://conky.sourceforge.net/

So, as you saw in the website, Conky is free, system monitor for X, ofcourse it displays information on your desktop.

But, i had question before, do you remember it?, No? Ok, i'll repeat it again, so peaple, do you need Conky?

Conky can show a lot of information from your system, cpu usage, memory, file systems' used and free space, and you get this information after one second and again and again...
Ok, you can change update time interval to three seconds, or five seconds, but why? Do you need information from your system so much times via day? Hm, i think no...

And, why i should say "No" again? Becouse, it eats resources of your computer, cpu's resources ofcourse, and some memory, so if you have not so powerful computer, just forget Conky...

If you have really good computer, you can use Conky, i know, this program is awesome, but if you have old computer, you wouldn't install it.
